How does carbamide peroxide work?

When carbamide peroxide comes into contact with teeth, it breaks down into hydrogen peroxide and urea.
It oxidizes the organic compounds that cause stains.
Carbamide peroxide breaks down more slowly and lasts longer than hydrogen peroxide, making it ideal for home bleaching treatments that are used for longer periods of time.

Consultation
a dentist will assess the suitability of your teeth for bleaching and determine the right concentration of carbamide peroxide for your needs.

Preparation
the dentist will scan your teeth to make the dental moulds.

Application
fill the dental moulds with the recommended amount of carbamide peroxide gel and place them over your teeth. Wear them according to the instructions.

Aftercare
after removing the dental moulds, rinse your mouth thoroughly and brush your teeth. - Follow the full course of treatment, which usually lasts 1-2 weeks, for optimal results.
